Web2UI is the design studio of Amal & Moumita Hajraa, set up during the winter of 2006 and serving a select client base ever since.

Amal’s ambition, since childhood, was one of becoming an artist. Those talents found their digital way in user interface design, and truly flourished after the mobile revolution, brought on by products such as the iPhone and the iPad. This gave Amal new ways to to further refine and develop his design skills. Before 2006, he had worked as a senior UI designer in 123India Web Services, a segment of India’s premier portal. Subsequently, he served as the UI head at De~Bono India, a strategic partner of Standard and Poor’s, UK., until he established his own consultancy services in the form of Web2UI.

At present, Amal’s main focus is to create simple, yet highly functional user experiences for some truly sophisticated applications related to the finance, forex and banking sectors, thereby creating smooth user interfaces for dashboards incorporating a large number of technical elements.

Moumita, having started to learn web design from 2002 onwards, has specialized in designing strikingly attractive interfaces. A client searching for a stunningly different corporate design or a fashion product that is colourful and feminine, yet exhibits meaningful graphics, can always depend on her eye and drafting skills. Moumita started her career as a web designer in 2005 and joined Amal when he established Web2UI.

While Amal’s input is best suited for producing complex dashboards and finance-related websites, Moumita can handle a broad range of UIs from corporate to E-Commerce sites.

This team works through remote methods with a wide variety of clients all over the World… using messengers, SVN and other necessary devices. This also gives them the flexibility to interact with other artists and designers in the entertainment industry, combining work with pleasure throughout the year.

Amal and Moumita, who were married in 2011, have acquired a higher ranked profile in design contest sites such as 99designs and Crowdspring, winning more than 50 international design contests.
